Nothing New

Truly not much has been happening. Just dealing with the long hard work of tree clean up. What is so bad about it is the length of time it seems to be taking, mainly because of Brett's work schedule and weather. So we plug along. Most of it is cut up, it now needs to be split, which will happen next weekend, yippeee, I'll have my front yard back. Caroline and I finished the planting today in the front gardens with 60 gladiola (sp?) bulbs. I'm so proud of her, she is really paying attention to where she is stepping and sitting. Not one squashed plant today. I have an appointment at a local nursery school to check things out. I'm not planning on enrolling her immediately, just keeping options open for the near future. I've heard many wonderful things about this place, but I'm going on a fact finding mission with no opinion and will go with my gut and heart when I make the decision.

Oh there you are... we were wondering when you would come back. What Nursery school is it?? I had such a hard time finding daycare that was easy to get to from work and that I could trust, I had family for the first two years but then that didn't work any more due to schedules etc, so I had to end up at a daycare, my mom was so worried, turns out my ex married on of the teachers, weird as it was, it was kind of nice for me that I knew who she was and she had watched my son since he was 2-3 so I wasn't too wigged out over it. Oh enough about me, glad to see you are back, I see you are almost free of all that wood. Your gardens look great, I saw Brett putting up the privacy fence, that will be nice. And yes the fish tank is set up, has water in it, a couple of coral, just to get going, it will take a while to get it up and running to it's full potential but in the end it will be fabulous, come see any time you want.

Hey there ... good to see ya! I think you have a budding natural-born gardener there - it's amazing that Caroline stayed focused on getting the bulbs in - she'll enjoy tales of her stepping around them.

Kristen - I had to shake my head at the lucky irony in your daycare center ... your son had some unexpected personal care ....
