Caroline wrangling the chickens. They are still in the basement but have grown into a 100 gallon tub.
Caroline has taught her Dominique, named Rosetta, to play "Queen of the Mountain". The darn chicken will sit on her head for quite some time.
Arrgghh...it's the Chicken Pirate. I'm amazed at all the things Caroline can do to this darn chicken and Rosetta just seems to enjoy the attention.
The chickens are now part of our bedtime routine. Here is Caroline giving her Rosetta her good night hug and kiss.
With all this attention the birds are getting, I just have to wonder how they or should I say Caroline and me, will adjust to being out in the chicken coop when the weather gets warm enough :-)

A chicken whisperer, for sure!! What great pictures - I love the one with Rosetta sitting on her head!!
Have a wonderful day!!
P.S. Is the top-of-your-blog picture of Caroline?
Oh, that is so cute. I'm glad they are thriving. Oh dear, separation-anxiety, cluck cluck. Do you have any pictures as they were getting bigger?
B-yup that is my skinny little young hoolagan at a chubby 7 months old. It is actually the day she decided she wanted to crawl off into the ocean and has been a fish ever since.
P-I'll have to check my photos. I think I took a lot when they were tiny, took a break and just recently began again.
What great shots!!! That is too funny, Caroline wearing her chicken hat, lol! I want a chicken hat!
